Dry Bulk Operator
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Dry Bulk Operator to join our dynamic Operations team. 
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of vessel operations, particularly in the dry bulk sector, and be committed to delivering operational excellence while safeguarding Owners' interests.
 Key Responsibilities:
-  Monitor and coordinate the day-to-day operations of dry bulk vessels under both spot and period charters
 
-  Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, port regulations, and industry standards
 
-  Handle cargo-related claims and disputes in a timely and effective manner
 
-  Liaise closely with Masters, Charterers, Brokers, Agents, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient voyage execution
 
-  Review and interpret Charter Party clauses and Bills of Lading to protect Owners’ interests
 
-  Maintain accurate operational records and reporting
 
 
Qualifications:
-  Sea-going experience on bulk carriers (preferably up to the rank of Master or Chief Mate) is considered a strong asset
 
-  Minimum 3 years of shore-based experience in a similar operational role
 
-  A degree in Maritime Studies or a related field is considered an asset
 
-  In-depth knowledge of Charter Party agreements, Bills of Lading, and claims management
 
-  Excellent command of written and spoken English
 
-  Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong overall computer literacy
 
-  Strong organizational, multitasking, and team collaboration skills
