Quality Policy

The Company is committed to providing Quality services, which consistently & continuously meets the requirements of its customers whilst protecting assets under its care, its employees and the environment in general.

This is achieved by establishing & discharging managerial & operational processes which have emerged from the combination of sound managerial principles and long lasted experience in the Shipping Industry.

The Company recognizes that charterers will be looking to professionally managed and well capitalized companies as their preferred carrier of choice. In this respect, the Company is committed to providing quality transportation services to all of its customers and to developing and maintaining long term relationships with them.

The Company's main objectives are to provide quality services by:
  • Meeting customer requirements as defined in the relevant Charter Parties
  • Developing and implementing controlled processes
  • Implementing continual improvements in operational responsiveness
  • Complying with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISM Code as well as continually improving its Management System
  • Establishing and communicating measurable & consistent objectives and performance targets to company employees
  • Complying with applicable statutory requirements, international legislation and classification society requirements
  • Operating vessels without incident(s) that could endanger company's employees, the environment or assets under the company's care
  • Operating vessels that do not suffer PSC deficiencies and/or External Non-Conformities
  • Complying with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
  • Developing employee skills and increasing their contribution through effective training
  • Not having Customer complaints
In order to meet the above objectives, the company has developed and implements a Management System which as a minimum meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001and ISM Code, as amended.

The Company expects that all Company employees, shore based and sea-going participate in the effort to achieve and sustain long-term improvements toward a state of excellence by implementing the company's Quality Policy.

The Company's Management is committed to actively participate in the implementation of the Company's Management System (CMS) and to provide the necessary conditions to improve performance in the areas of safety, health, quality and environmental protection at all levels throughout the company. The Company's Management is also responsible for monitoring and reviewing the Quality Policy at regular intervals in order to ensure that it remains relevant and effective.

Quality Policy must be communicated, understood and applied within the Company and onboard vessel(s) and be available to all relevant interested parties.
